Service Learning Program Options
This spring, we are offering our traditional Service Learning Program and a Remote Service Project option. Read below to determine which option is best for you.
Service Learning Program
Registration Fee: $160 per child ($150 for Family Sponsors)
Fee assistance is available for families with a demonstrated financial need.
In this program, children learn about a specific community need alongside their peers, brainstorm solutions together, volunteer with a parent/guardian, and reflect on what they have learned in the program while working independently on a personal service project. At the end of the program, participants will have the opportunity to present their project at our Extension Project Showcase on April 4th!

Remote Service Project
Registration Fee: $60 per child (pilot program pricing)
For families who want to engage their child in service learning, but are unable to attend our program dates, we have created a new Remote Service Project opportunity! In this program, your child will learn on their own with the support of a parent/guardian over the course of several weeks. We will provide participants with learning tools to use at home, including online curriculum, reflection questions, learning goals and project options. Participants will work independently on a personal service project of their choice. At the end of the program, participants will have the opportunity to present their project at our Extension Project Showcase on April 4th!
This is a pilot program, so we will be requesting feedback from families on their experience.

Extension Project Showcase
At the end of the Service Learning Program, participants each complete their own independent extension project, allowing them to follow their passions while making an impact as an individual. Then, each child gets to present their project at our Extension Project Showcase!
