Teens, ages 13-18, provide much-needed help to Austin area nonprofits, while working alongside their peers, without a parent or guardian. These events give teens experience with volunteer projects in support of many different community needs.
The Generation SERVE Teen Advisory Board started our Teen Service Days to increase the number of volunteer opportunities for teens. These events are led by members of the Teen Advisory Board and other Teen Activity Leaders in coordination with our Teen Leadership Program staff. Teen Service Days are available for teens to sign up to attend on our Activity Calendar by filtering on the left of the screen using Programs> Teen Service Days. We have also hosted teen service days for teens through Boys & Girls Club, Young Latino Leaders, Youth Advisory Council, the Settlement Home for Children, and Maven Youth. |
