Teen Leadership Programs
Teens help inspire the next generation of volunteers and community leaders on our service pathway. In order to support our youth along their leadership journey, we have created several avenues for their development. Each program provides leadership opportunties for our teens in a variety of ways, ensuring that we offer something for everyone. If you have questions about our Teen Programs, please feel free to reach out to Program Manager Mackenzie Davison. Want to stay in touch? Check out our teen run Instagram and blog! |

What we have to offer
Summer Teen Leadership Academy
During the summer, our Teen Leadership Academy is open to any 13-18 year old looking to hone their leadership and mentorship skills. This 5 week program is a leadership intensive meant to educate our participants in community issues while mentoring a pre-teen (from our Project Mentee Program) through a community service project.
Summer Project Mentee
This program runs parallel to the Teen Leadership Academy, occuring during the summer and catering to 8-12 year olds. This program is a 5 week mentorship opportunity (mentors sourced from the Teen Leadership Academy) for youth looking to learn more about issues in their city and how to solve them. Participants will complete a service project of their choosing while being mentored by a Teen.
Teen Advisory Board
For those teens who are intersted in serving Generation SERVE in a unique capacity, we offer the Teen Advisotry Board (TAB). This board meets during the academic school year and has 3 committees: the Programs Commitee, the Fundraising Committee and the Communications Committee. TAB creates and produces all of it's Teen Service Days as well as it's social media channels, including a blog!

Teen Service Days
Teens, ages 13-18, provide much-needed help to Austin area nonprofits, while working alongside their peers, without a parent or guardian. These year round events give teens experience with volunteer projects in support of many different community needs. This is a unique opportunity for our teens, who get to work alongside their peers through events that are created and run by our Teen Advisory Board. Sign up on our calendar to attend a Teen Service Day today!
