SERVE Society members believe in the power of engaging youth in service and are invested in making our mission a movement. Together, we will continue to be innovators for youth volunteerism, igniting passion for volunteering while building the next generation of leaders! With the generosity of our SERVE Society members, we will continue the following initiatives:
- Maximize our inclusion to better serve ALL young changemakers;
- Measure the impact and power of engaging youth in service; and
- Expand our mission into new markets.

INCLUSION
We believe that volunteerism is a right, not a privilege - yet we also acknowledge that we may not be reaching every young volunteer who wants to serve his or her community. We will be exploring barriers to our programming and the communities we ARE currently serving and those we are NOT currently serving. We want to engage these communities in conversations, focus groups, and brainstorming to figure out how we can better serve our communities.
IMPACT
We want to take a step back and measure the full impact of our unique "Service Pathway." As the ONLY organization in the country engaging kids in service from ages 3 through 17, we have a responsibility to add to the research and best practices around youth volunteerism. We will be leveraging 10 years of experience and data so that more communities can benefit from our challenges, successes, and lessons learned.
EXPANSION
In continuing our vision of impacting generations of community-minded leaders, we want to “give the gift of Generation SERVE” to other communities across the country. While each new site will be ultimately supported by that community— as was the case with Houston— thoughtful expansion efforts require infrastructure support. We are committed to maintaining the quality and integrity of our programs here in Central Texas, while sharing what makes Generation SERVE special more broadly.
