Registration has closed for our Fall Service Learning Program.
Fall Service Learning Program
Our Service Learning Program is offered in the fall and spring for children 8-12 years old. Youth learn about a specific community need alongside their peers, brainstorm solutions together, volunteer, and reflect on what they have learned in the program while working on a personal service project.
At the end of the Service Learning Program, participants each complete their own independent extension project, allowing them to follow their passions while making an impact as an individual. Then, each child gets to present their project at our Project Showcase!
Hybrid Service Program: Safely Serving
- Limited spaces for appropriate social distancing! Discounted price $100/per youth/guardian pair
- First-come, first-serve with registration closing September 30, 2020 or until full
- Adapted lessons will be led by program staff in a virtual AND in-person small group setting with interactive conversations and hands-on activities online and onsite!
This program is an option open to youth/guardian pairs who feel comfortable with a hybrid option (virtual and in-person activities indicated below) with safety precautions (required masks and social distancing) while adhering to a group size of 10 or less (including participating youth, guardian, staff members).
- Various organizations to support learning from guest partners, experiencing virtual tours/meet-and-greets from the organization, and learning ways to remotely support!
