2021 Project Mentee Recap
Thank you all for another wonderful summer with our Project Mentee Program! This year, we worked on creating a curriculum based around community service and project building. Each Mentee was paired up with a Mentor from our sister program, the Teen Leadership Program. With the help of their mentor, each mentee created a project based around a community need of their choosing. And what a success! A big thank you to our mentees who underwent our Orientation and took ownership of their own projects- the community thanks you!
Project Mentee Feedback:

“I can continue [to help] by picking up trash myself through my neighborhood. I learned that kids can make a difference.” - Ryan, mentee
“Thank you both for giving [my mentee] the chance to focus on helping her community this summer!” - Erin D’Andrea, parent
“ [She] enjoyed completing her project and it was a great experience! Thank you all!” - Morgan Stockdale, parent

Project Mentee Information
In this program for 8-12 year olds, youth will learn about service and community building with the support of a mentor and a guardian. We will provide participants and their mentors with information on community needs and learning tools to use at home, including virtual meetings, learning goals, reflection questions, and project options. Project Mentee participants will work together with a trained Generation SERVE teen mentor on a personal service project of their choice. At the end of the program, they will have the opportunity to share their project and their impact on the community through our website.
Please register each child for our Project Mentee program individually. This program is for ages 8 through 12.
After we receive your registration form (below), we will contact you to confirm that your child is in the program and to obtain payment.
