About the
Program

Seniors for Seniors (S4S) is a youth-led volunteer initiative founded by high school students Colin Bay and Sebi Segura.

S4S brings high school seniors together with older adults living in eldercare facilities, creating genuine, face-to-face connections that reduce isolation and build lasting intergenerational relationships.

What Youth Volunteers Do

S4S youth volunteers visit eldercare communities to take part in relationship-centered activities, including:

Sharing time in conversation

Through consistent, compassionate presence, volunteers bring joy and companionship to older adults, while gaining empathy, perspective, and a deeper appreciation for our aging community.

Our Mission

S4S exists to address the growing loneliness epidemic among older adults by creating authentic, face-to-face connections. The program welcomes both individual youth and high schools looking to bring this model into their own communities.
