Little Helpers Learn & Play
Generation SERVE offers an early childhood program to get preschoolers (ages 3-5) started on our service pathway! The Little Helpers: Learn & Play program takes place over the course of 6 weeks and gives participants an opportunity to develop the habit of volunteerism, while getting to know other families and doing good in our community. The curriculum is created and facilitated by Carol McHorse, a certified teacher with an early childhood education specialization. Each session includes a story and an age-appropriate service activity.

Getting started with volunteerism early is essential in solidifying service as a core part of who a child is, inspiring lifelong volunteerism and philanthropy. Our monthly Activity Calendar offers many opportunities for youth as young as three to volunteer in the community alongside a parent or caregiver. Many opportunities are open to all ages, while some of our activities each month are dedicated to a preschool-only audience. These activities offer meaningful service opportunities that are age-appropriate for little helpers.
Whole Foods Kids' Club
Generation SERVE partners with Whole Foods Kids’ Club at the Domain about six times a year to introduce youth under five and their families to service. At each Kids’ Club, we read a story and complete a kid-friendly service activity according to a seasonal theme.
